Ground development to start on July 24th |
Apologies for the lack of updates recently but there hasn't been too much happening down at Kingsmeadow of late! Chris Kelly informs us that the Ground development will finally get underway on the Monday after the Chelsea game. |
Meet the new Board of Directors |
Following on from the success of last season's forums, there's a chance for fans to meet the newly assembled Board of Directors this coming Monday night from 7.30pm in the Saxon Rooms. |
Kingstonian FC Open Days |
A reminder that the first of two open days at the club takes place on Sunday week (9th) where there are numerous activities going on, as well as the chance to buy season tickets, take a tour of the ground, have your picture taken with the Trophy and sign up with the Supporters Club. The day starts at 10am. |

Two new friendlies added |
Two more friendlies have been added to the list on the fixtures page. K's travel down to the South coast to play Pagham on Wednesday 19th July, while the Chelsea friendly has been confirmed as the Saturday after this game - the 22nd. |

Matt Crossley joins Aldershot |
It has been announced by Aldershot that Skipper Matt Crossley has signed a two year deal for the Shots. He leaves Kingsmeadow after three highly successful seasons - winning the Isthmian League Championship and the Surrey Senior Cup in his first year, before captaining the side to two FA Trophy victories. According to a press release from Aldershot, Crossley cites 'changes in his personal life' as the main reason for the move. |
Kingstonian FC Open Days |
The Football Club will be holding two open days, on the 9th July and the 6th August. Visitors will get a chance to take a tour of the ground, including the dressing rooms, have their photographs taken with the FA Trophy and to join the Supporters Club. Further details will be posted as the date draws nearer. |

K's have been invited to enter next season's Auto Windscreens Shield |
It has been confirmed that K's have been invited to enter next season's Auto Windscreens Shield competition. They will enter the competition with fellow Conference sides that finished between 2nd and 7th inclusive, as well as Chester City, and Doncaster Rovers as MacMillan Trophy holders. |
A second promotion place will be made available for the Conference in 2001/2 |
A second promotion place will be made available for the Conference although this will not be implemented until 2001/02 due to 'problems introducing the legislation.' We don't yet know the details of how this will work but shall let you know as soon as we do! |

Kingstonian v Chelsea details |
A date for the Chelsea friendly is expected to be confirmed on June 14th when Colin Hutchinson returns from his hols. |
Ticket prices for 2000/2001 |
Season tickets and entrance prices will be the same as last year although Concession prices have been reintroduced for the Main Stand. Under 16's can join the Junior K's for just 9.50 which entitles them to, amongst other things, free entrance to all home Conference games. Ground development latest |
The club have just told us that discussions did take place with the council yesterday regarding the ground development, but that certain issues remain unresolved. There is another meeting planned for next week to hopefully complete the legal matters.

Amara Simba is offered a new contract |
Amara Simba has been offered a new contract and the club are confident that he will be a K's player for 2000/2001. |
