Update from Alan Dowson |
Manager Alan Dowson comments, "I've been talking to the players about next season and at the moment they all want to come back, which is a massive plus. They've every right too as we've just won a championship. There will be a lot of pressure on places, and a couple might decide to move on but we're re focused on the task ahead.
"On a personal note it was nice winning the manager of the season award, and that will go straight in the K's trophy cabinet as it's been a joint effort, in particular with my assistants Mark Hams and Martin Tyler.
"A final mention for the fans as they've been absolutely great, and were as the banner said like our 12th man. It's a chance to have a break for the summer and we'll have a good pre-season schedule lined up as we prepare for the Premier division." |

Bobby Traynor |
The club is pleased to announce that striker Bobby Traynor has signed a new contract with the club. Bobby has scored 74 goals from 110 appearances for the K's, and finished the season as the league's top scorer.
Manager Alan Dowson comments, "Everyone knows how highly I rate Bobby and the stats speak for themselves. He's the top scorer here and across the whole division and will get 25-30 next year in the Premier. I'm delighted to have him and Carl (Wilson-Denis) paired up again for next season as it's been a great partnership for us." |

Supporters 3-7 Staff |
The staff team beat the supporters by seven goals to three on Saturday at Raynes Park Vale.
Manager Alan Dowson comments, "That was definately the biggest game of the season and I'm delighted with the result. We got our tactics spot on and played them off the park. We could see them tiring so put on the kids - Glenn, Josh, Bradley and Billy - and their pace cause the opposition a lot of problems. If I was the supporters manager I'd have them back early pre-season, as boy do they need it!" |

Manager Alan Dowson comments, "We're delighted that a club of the stature of West Ham are coming. Supporters v Staff |
The supporters take on the staff in the annual challenge match this Saturday, kick off 3pm at Raynes Park Vale FC. The clubhouse opens at 1pm and there will also be a BBQ.
Everyone is invited to watch, or participate. Andy Clarke is the supporters team manager and can be contacted via the forum.
Meanwhile, staff team manager Alan Dowson is fired up for the game, "I've had a great campaign and am the reigning manager of the month so we're going to play like the champions that Kingstonian are. We beat the supporters with five under 12's last year and never have any problems playing them, so this will be a chance to finally put those moaning supporters in their place. This is the biggest game of the season!" |

Player of the year |
Manager Alan Dowson reflects upon the end of season presentation party, "It was a great night for everyone and a chance to say well done to each and every single player, especially Carl Wilson-Denis who won the players and supporters awards. He would have needed a hand from Mark Hams to get the trophies home as he's the only person strong enough to carry them all!" |

Manager of the month |
Congratulations to Alan Dowson for being named the Manager of the Month (Division One South) for April by the Ryman League. |

Simon Huckle |
The club is pleased to announce that Simon Huckle has agreed terms for next season, following Carl Wilson-Denis earlier in the week.
Manager Alan Dowson comments, "Simon is going away next week when I'll be sorting things out with most of the team so we've got him tied down now. He's a great club man so I said his family could come for free - that will wind the chairman up as it'll end up costing about five grand!
"Meanwhile, Adam Thompson will be away in the coming week but has given his word that he'll be committing to us for next season when he gets back, and that's good enough for me. Everyone knows how highly I think of Thommo." |
