A member of the Brighton & Hove Albion centre of excellence between 1994-2001, Matt also represented Sussex at U14/15/16/17/18 levels during his time there. Joined the Kingstonian Academy, and at the age of seventeen, Matt was thrust into the limelight when given his first team debut at Bedford Town - a performance that earned him a man of the match rating. Moved to Molesey at the start of last season in a quest for regular first team football, and was quickly snapped up by Carshalton Athletic before returning to K's in the summer.
