Michael started as a trainee at Arsenal before making 19 appearances for Wimbledon in the Championship. Following a spell at Swindon Town he moved into non-league football, playing amongst others for Havant & Waterlooville, Sutton United and Northwood. His form for Merstham in 2009 landed him a move back in to the Football League with Lincoln City. Capped by England at U15 level.
