"Notification has been received from the Isthmian Football League refusing to confirm its commitment to the Alliance Agreement contrary to the undertaking it signed on 17th March 2003. Instead it has confirmed its opposition to the current restructuring sanctioned by the Football Association that has been agreed by all the other competitions and which has also been supported by many of its own member clubs.
The Football Conference, Northern Premier and Southern Leagues continue their commitment to implement the new structure following written confirmation from eligible clubs to proceed with their applications for a 1-2-3-4 system for season 2004/2005 in the format approved by the Football Association.

Kim Harris on Stamford |
The manager spoke to us after the game about this afternoon's events as well as new signing Chris Bangura. You can access the interview via the audio page. |
Chris Bangura |
The club is delighted to announce that centre forward Chris Bangura has signed from Aylesbury United. Chris was at Kingsmeadow this afternoon to see his new team-mates defeat Stamford and is looking forward to starting his K's career.
The following is from the official Aylesbury site: Energetic, enthusiastic striker who is now entering his third full season with the Ducks. Very quick and able to get past people with ease. Scores some spectacular goals, but misses some easy chances. Has missed from virtually under the crossbar on more than one occasion!
Started life in Green and White slowly when he signed at the end of 2000/01, but soon got into his stride and was one of our best players in the promotion season the following year.
Unfortunately found the step up to Premier Division football hard last season, as 6 goals in 40 games shows. Still capable though, and with a bit of confidence will do the business this year. |
