Statement from the chairman |
Kingstonian chairman Jimmy Cochrane has tonight announced that, following lengthy talks and subject to documentation, a deal has been agreed which will see Mark Anderson take over as chairman/owner of the club.
Cochrane added that he would like to extend his sincerest thanks to everyone who has helped and supported the club during his tenure. |
First team coach appointed |
Kingstonian FC are pleased to announce that Mark Harris has been appointed First Team Coach, and will once again work with Stuart McIntyre, to whom he was assistant manager at Bromley.
Harris, 42, is a popular former Kingstonian player with a decade of playing experience in the Football League with Swansea City, Gillingham and Cardiff City, along with three seasons in the Nationwide Conference with the K's. |

Perimeter lease and the K's Trust |
There will be an 'update and discussion' session for Kingstonian supporters regarding the Kingsmeadow perimeter lease with Scott Herbertson (Head of Leisure and Lifelong Learning, Kingston Council) and the K's Trust with Mark Murphy (Chairman, The K's Trust) next Wednesday 7th June, starting 8pm in the Banqueting Suite at Kingsmeadow. |

Kingstonian Youth roundup and trials |
Kingstonian Youth are holding trials this coming weekend for boys and girls at all age groups from U7-U16. Since its launch in 2004, the setup has made great progress and is the only FA Charter Standard Development Club in the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames. Each age group has a specific time slot, and full details can be found here.
Some highlights from last season on the field in the West Surrey Youth League and Surrey County Girls League include:

Stuart McIntyre appointed Head Coach |
Kingstonian Football Club are delighted to announce that Stuart McIntyre has been appointed as Head Coach, and will take on all first team managerial duties as of immediate effect.
The club are keen to put an emphasis upon the development and improvement of their footballers, whilst creating a sustainable and seamless internal structure. Former K's player Adrian Withers has meanwhile been appointed to run the Under 18's next season.
Stuart McIntyre, 45, was a youth team player with Kilmarnock before moving south. His association with Kingstonian dates back ten years, and as reserve team manager he guided both Kingstonian and Woking sides to championship titles. Stuart was appointed manager of Ryman League Bromley in October 2001, before returning to the K's as first team coach in March 2005. |

The management of Kingstonian FC have announced that first team manager Ian McDonald has left the club. Ian was appointed just over a year ago with the prime task of turning the team around from the depths of despair to a well performing Ryman 1st Division team. We are very proud that he achieved this along with winning the SSC Cup at Woking last week. We consider his skills to be of Conference level and wish him all the best in his next appointment. |

Surrey Senior Cup Final DVD |
You can now purchase a DVD of last Friday's one-nil Surrey Senior Cup Final victory over AFC Wimbledon. Roughly 100 minutes of footage is included, with the entire match as well as pre and post-match footage - including the cup presentation.
We are able to offer this service with the help of the AFC Wimbledon Video Crew, but we have been assured that the edition available through kingstonian.net will be in a K's flavoured sleeve, with no bias being shown in the match coverage!

Goal celebration |
Kingstonian FC would like to issue an apology for any offence that may have been caused to the supporters, players and officials of AFC Wimbledon at Friday night's Surrey Senior Cup final following Martyn Lee's goal late in the first half.
Manager Ian McDonald confirmed that Lee expressed his regret regarding the over-exuberant celebrations, which happened in a hazy moment after an important strike, during the half time interval. McDonald passed his own apologies on to AFC Wimbledon counterpart Dave Anderson after the game, and on behalf of the club would like to extend that to all others via the club website. |

Mick Brady lifted the Surrey Senior Cup at Woking's Kingfield Road ground tonight after a well deserved one-nil victory over landlords AFC Wimbledon.
The goal came from a deflected free-kick by Martyn Lee just before the half-time whistle.

National league club allocations agreed |
The FA's Leagues Committee this morning agreed the make-up of the National League "pyramid" at Steps 1 to 4 for season 2006/2007, this followed recommendations made to the Committee by the Alliance the previous day.
The structure next season will be 1 2 3 5 with both the Isthmian and Southern Leagues operating with two divisions at Step 4 and the Northern Premier one division.
The relegation of three clubs from Step 4 was confirmed: Banstead Athletic (to Combined Counties), Bishop Auckland (Northern League) and Thame United (Hellenic League). The remaining clubs placed in relegation places will be reprieved.

Final arrangements for Surrey Cup - update |
The club shop will now be open one last time this season on WEDNESDAY from 7-9pm, selling the clubs last batch of Surrey Senior Cup final tickets, taking coach bookings for the game and selling various bits of merchandise at end of season sale prices.
For those who miss out on advance tickets, they will also be available on the turnstiles, where the K's contingent will be allocated the Kingfield Road End and the old main stand along the side at Woking's Kingfield Stadium.
With limited parking at the ground, the Kingstonian Supporters coaches will provide a convenient method of transport, departing Kingsmeadow at 6.00pm and costing just £5 per person.
**Please note that the venue for Friday's game is Woking, and not Kingsmeadow as suggested by this site's somewhat confused fixtures database** |

The final dates on which Surrey Senior Cup final tickets will be on sale from the club will be:
Saturday 6th May, 10.30am-12.30pm, from Kingsmeadow Athletics Stadium foyer Monday 8th May, 7-9pm, from K's club shop at Kingsmeadow Tuesday 9th May, 7-9pm, from K's club shop at Kingsmeadow
So far, over 300 tickets (£8 adults, £4 concessions) have been snapped up. Although it will be possible to pay on the night at the turnstiles (Friday 12th May, kick off 7.45pm at Woking FC), it is highly recommended that they are purchased from the club in advance. |
