Margate 3-3 Kingstonian
Kingstonian's final day of the season mirrored that of five years ago when they started out in 6th place yet finished in 7th following a three-all draw, when a victory would have secured a playoff spot.

K's started brightly and thought they had taken the lead through Paul Vines on the quarter hour mark, only for the referee to pull back play for a penalty. Bobby Traynor duly converted, before Vines got his name on the scoresheet five minutes later. Vines and Traynor peppered the home goal with efforts before the latter - aiming for his third successive golden boot - struck again for K's third goal with just 28 minutes on the clock.

Margate pulled a goal back before the break, with Wayne Wilson heading home following some sloppy defending. The hosts then started the second half with vigour and despite the efforts of Rob Tolfrey grabbed a second in the opening minutes. With their momentum as firmly behind them as the wind, Margate's Dean Hill completed an extraordinary comeback with a 77th minute strike. The shell-shocked K's were unable to mount much of a charge for the winning goal that would seal their playoff place at the expense of Harrow Borough, other than an effort from substitute Antonio Gonnella that was fingertipped onto the crossbar by home goalkeeper Jamie Turner.

Full details of the match are now available.

Kingstonian 4-2 Tooting & Mitcham
Kingstonian beat Tooting by four goals to two to move into sixth position with just a game remaining.

Paul Vines netted against his former club in the second minute before Bobby Traynor converted a penalty to extend the advantage just before the half hour mark. Billy Crook pulled a goal back for Tooting before the break but Tom Hutchinson restored the two goal advantage on the other side of the interval.

The gap was closed to a single goal again when former K's legend Geoff Pitcher converted a 70th minute penalty for Tooting, but Vines knocked home his second of the game to complete the scoring in the 78th minute.

AFC Hornchurch 1-1 Kingstonian
The quickest goal of the season was at the wrong end of the pitch as far as K's were concerned, with Hornchurch taking the lead through Elliot Styles after just 43 seconds. Bobby Traynor however levelled the scores on the quarter hour mark from the penalty spot, after a handball offence.

Full details of the match are now available.

Kingstonian Vets 6-2 Bromley Vets
Kingstonian romped into the Isthmian Veterans Cup final following a six-two win against Bromley last night, despite being without injured goalkeeper Chuck Martini.

Goals from Tony Reid, Scott Corbett and Stafford Browne opened up a lead for the K's, though Bromley pulled one back shortly before half time through Steve McKimm.

Reid went on to add his second and then complete the hat-trick in the second half, and whilst McKimm again netted for Bromley it was little more than consolation. Julian Sills added a sixth for the K's in the closing stages.

The final will take place against the winners of Bognor Regis Town v Whyteleafe, now being played on Wednesday 27th April.

Kingstonian 2-0 Folkestone
Kingstonian kept themselves in the playoff hunt following a two-nil win against Folkestone Invicta, who saw themselves relegated after just a season back in the division following this result.

Having seen Tom Hutchinson denied by the offside flag and Paul Vines by the post, K's took the lead through a Tom Bird free kick in the 64th minute. Birthday boy Dean Lodge grabbed a second in injury time after rounding the goalkeeper.

Kingstonian 2-1 Cray Wanderers
A spectacular volley from Simon Huckle proved to be the match winner for Kingstonian against Cray Wanderers.

Tommy Hutchinson had opened the scoring for the K's in the 16th minute before the visitors levelled the scores through Danny Phillips just after the half hour mark. Huckle's goal came in a second half where Cray saw an effort cleared off the line, whilst Paul Vines struck against the frame of the goal and Dean Lodge clipped the top of the crossbar at the other end in the closing stages.

Walton Casuals Vets 1-3 Kingstonian Vets
Kingstonian Vets started their season with a three-one win away to Walton Casuals last night.

Tony Reid opened the scoring from the penalty spot in the 47th minute, after goalkeeper Chuck Martini had sent a first half spot kick wide of the mark. Reid added a second in the 61st minute, whilst Richard Thompson netted a third in the 76th minute. Martini made a stunning late save, though the hosts did pull back a consolation goal in the closing stages.

Given the spirit of the competition, Walton Casuals' agricultural style was disappointing and the referee was left with no option but to send off one of their players after a wild challenge that prematurely ended Eddie Akuamoah's game.

Lineup:

1) Chuck Martini
2) Mark Thomas
3) Julian Sills
4) Gary Jones
5) Matt Crossley (c)
6) Mark Harris
7) Conrad Kane
8) Scott Corbett
