K's Tigers finish as runners up
The K's Trust sponsored New Malden Little League team, the K's Tigers, were last night narrowly defeated in their cup final by championship rivals Redskins 5-3 on penalties after drawing the match 1-1.

K's Tigers have just completed their season, finishing as runners up in the New Malden Little League, behind Redskins. The K's Tigers took consolation though in the fact that they were the only team to take any points off Redskins with two draws against their rivals. The new season will kick off again in September.

Kingstonian 1-3 Sutton United
Stafford Browne's second-half goal seemed only to anger Sutton, who were already two goals up (through Eddie Akuamoah and Nick Bailey) and who then promptly ran down the other end to restore their two goal cushion. Full details are available here.

Sutton progress to the Surrey Cup Final, where they will face Woking, who overcame Leatherhead by three goals to nil tonight.

An eventful afternoon at a windy Rockingham Road saw K's take a share of the points courtesy of an early second half headed goal by Stafford Browne.

Darren Lynch had given Kettering the lead just after the half hour mark with a close range strike, but Lance Key and his goal frame were to deny the home side any further goals.
