Scott Corbett & Michael Brady |
The club are pleased to announce the return of midfielder Scott Corbett, part of the Ryman League championship winning side of 1998. Since leaving the club, Scott has also won the league with Farnborough Town and Sutton United, captaining the latter for whom he appeared for 144 times over four seasons.
Meanwhile central defender Michael Brady joins the club from Tooting & Mitcham United. Michael will add plenty of Ryman League experience to the side. |

A second-half goal from Mark Watson gave K's a deserved win at Kingsmeadow earlier this aftenoon, against Conference South Bognor. Darren Bell has sent us a report - thanks very much to him.

Trevor Jones Memorial Fund |

Kingstonian 0-2 AFC Wimbledon |
A crowd of 871 saw AFC Wimbledon take the Trevor Jones Memorial Trophy tonight with a 2-0 win over the K's. Steve Butler opened the scoring with a header in the twentieth minute before K's were denied both sides of the break by visiting goalkeeper Josh Lennie. Sean Hillyer struck again just after the hour mark to complete the scoring in what was a competitive game.

Pre-season at Kingsmeadow |
Tonight sees the start of a three match series of home pre-season friendlies for the K's, with AFC Wimbledon providing the opposition in the Trevor Jones Memorial Trophy. Bognor Regis will be making the trip up from the coast this Saturday 30th July, whilst Premiership side Fulham, returning from a pre-season tour of America on Monday, are expected to send a strong squad along on Wednesday 3rd August.
The club's new pricing structure will be in place, whereby seating in the main stand will no longer cost extra. General admission prices for all home games are as follows:

Kingstonian continued their bright start to pre-season with a comfortable win at Dorking today.
In a game filled with goalmouth action for the K's, Bashiru Alimi struck midway through the first half before Mark Watson scored just before the break in his first outing for the club. Ben Yiadom completed the scoring with a penalty late in the game.

Despite taking a lead in the opening minute, the K's XI featuring Chuck Martini went down by two-goals to one just along the A3.

Dorking and Colliers Wood Utd |
This Saturday sees two Kingstonian sides in action with the pre-season programme in full swing. Stuart McIntyre will take charge at the main fixture at Dorking, whilst manager Ian McDonald will run the rule over a Kingstonian XI featuring players introduced by goalkeeper Chuck Martini at Colliers Wood United. Both games kick off at 3pm.
For those travelling to Dorking, for which match details can be found here, please take note of the following information from our hosts:
"Unfortunately parking is very limited at Meadowbank. When supporters approach the ground along Mill Lane they should fork left and park in the multi-storey car park. The ground is then a very short walk away. The car park at the ground will be for officials and players only."
Meanwhile, for those going to Colliers Wood United, supporters are advised that this game will be at their ground just off the A3 (and NOT at Croydon), which is Wibbundune Sports Ground, Robin Hood Way, SW20 0AA. |

Selsey 1-4 Kingstonian |
K's started their pre-season campaign with a four-one win on the south coast at Selsey yesterday.
Mazin Ahmad opened the scoring in the 22nd minute, having gone tantalisingly close earlier, before former Windsor & Eton player Brahim Eloumani doubled the advantage with a neatly taken goal in the 40th minute. Tony Reid followed up by converting a low Ben Yiadom cross for a third just before half time.
A steady flow of substitutions followed in the second half, and Selsey pulled a goal back in the 80th minute through a fine free kick before Reid grabbed his second of the game with a fierce strike into the top corner of the net.

The squad of 18 travelling down for the game later today at Selsey includes a mix of familiar faces and trialists.
Moroccan international goalkeeper Chuck Martini is expected to be joined by former K's defender Julian Sills as new signings to feature. Richard Taylor misses out through injury, though the following players from last season are expected to be involved: Mazin Ahmad, Bashiru Alimi, Ian Dickens, Martyn Lee, Kenny Ojukwa, Stuart Reeks, Tony Reid, Steven Sanders.
Meanwhile, joining up with the senior team for the first time is Paul Brady - a product of Kingstonian Youth. Paul was goalkeeper for the K's U16's last season and was called upon to represent the Surrey County FA. |

The club will be holding a race night on Friday 12th August at Kingsmeadow, with doors opening at 7.15pm for an 8.00pm start.
Entrance, including race card, will be £3 and a tote will be in operation with cash prizes for the lucky winners. Horses can be bought for £5, with further prizes on offer to the winners. Forms including full details and horse sponsorship opportunities can be found in the downloads section. |

"An update on the publication of next season's fixtures. Work is currently ongoing with the Sema Computer System to prepare a first draft of next season's fixture lists. Unfortunately they are running behind schedule with our production, and I do not expect to be in a position to publish them until week beginning Monday, 11th July. At this present moment I cannot be more specific, but I will provide a further update as soon as possible." |
