Maidenhead v Kingstonian LIVE!!
After some exhaustive (to say the least) testing, you'll be able to see the details from tomorrow's match live on this website. If you visit any page other than the forum from about 6pm tomorrow, the panel in the top-right will change to show the latest score (when there is one) from York Road.

Click on the "watch this match live" link and you will be presented with a screen showing the line-up and score. This screen will change throughout the match to show substitutions, yellow and red cards as well as all of the goal news.

It's the first time that this has been run for real, so there may be a couple of problems. But if you can't make it to York Road tomorrow, it's unlikely you'll be able to get the score anywhere else any quicker!

New look kingstonian.net!
You will probably have noticed that over the weekend the website has had a pretty major face-lift. The biggest change to the site is the general look of it. The menu has moved from the side to the top of the page, meaning that all of the pages are wider, allowing more content and bigger photos.

The colour of the site has also changed. The first time that you visit you will be met with a red and white looking K's Web. Don't like it? Then change it! Just head to the personalise the site page and you can choose from one of four colour schemes. You can keep a check on the most popular one too!

There have also been some changes in structure around here. If you look at the fixtures page you'll see that the kick-off time is now shown. Not only that, click on any match which hasn't yet been played and you will be shown all of the details that you could possibly need - including the details of the Supporters' Club coach.

The front page has some new additions - a ticker with this week's results and fixtures, and an "On this day" section for all you history buffs.

There are still some gaps in the site where pages haven't yet been transferred over. All of the more popular pages are available right now, but there are still quite a few to move. At the last count there were 2,627 separate files within the site - and that was coming up for six months ago! We hope to have normal service fully resumed by the weekend.

One slightly major item that is currently missing is the service that emails people when the site is updated. This is currently not running, but should be within the next two days.

From a more technical point of view, if you have any pages in your favourites/bookmarks you'll probably need to change them. The site is now run entirely by Java Server Pages and Java Servlets (huh?) - making all of the behind the scenes work much easier, but meaning that none of the ".htm" files are available any more. Sorry.

If you have any comments on the new-look - either good or bad! - please feel free to leave them on the forum or email us at ksweb@kingstonian.com.

    Julian Sills to Staines
    From nonleaguedaily.com:

    GRIFFITHS OPTS FOR STAINES

Steve Cordery, manager of Ryman League Division One DSouth club Staines Town, included a couple more new signings in his squad for the game against promoted Carshalton Athletic on Saturday.

The latest to join the Wheatsheaf Lane outfit are striker Leroy Griffiths, the former Queens Park Rangers player who played under Cordery at Hampton & Richmond Borough, and defender Julian Sills.

Griffiths (pictured) started out with the likes of Sutton United, Banstead Athletic and Corinthian Casuals before signing for Hampton & Richmond Borough in February 2000.

He barely spent a season with the Beavers before making a surprise switch to Queen's Park Rangers in June 2001.

He played 23 times for Rangers before being released at the end of the 2001/02 season and he joined Fanborough Town in August 2002, and although Boro boss Tommy Taylor wanted Griffiths to stay at Cherrywood Road, Griffiths has instead opted to re-join Cordery.

Julian Sills, the older brother of new Aldershot Town signing Tim, signed for the K's in the last week of August 2002 from New Zealand Northern First Division side Birkenhead United, and was given FIFA clearance just in time to beat the closure of the window for international moves.

Prior to going to New Zealand Sills was, again like Tim, previously with both Camberley Town and Basingstoke Town.

Griffiths grabbed his first goal for his new club when he opened the scoring for Staines in the first half with a powerful finish before Carshalton levelled right on half time.
