Kim Harris |
Kingstonian FC wish to announce that Kim Harris has stepped down as team manager of the club with immediate effect. The club would like to put on record its thanks to Kim for all the hard work and effort he has put in over the past few seasons both on and off the pitch in what has arguably been the most difficult period in the near 120 year history of the club.
In the interim, player/assistant manager Scott Steele will be taking over all managerial responsibilities starting with this Saturday's away Ryman Premier fixture at Windsor & Eton. I know that everybody will want to join together in getting behind Scott and the boys.

Wally Howse/Arthur Luckett |
It is with much sadness that two men linked with Kingstonian have recently passed away.
The death of Wally Howse, at 87 years of age one of the club's longest-serving fans and father of former K's coach Clive, was marked by a minute's silence before the Wealdstone game.
Pat Keating also informs us that Arthur Luckett, a K's regular and father of former K's player Colin, has passed away.
The club would like to extend their condolences to both families. |

Tuesday 3rd August 2004 |
Kingstonian 1-4 AFC Wimbledon |
A final scoreline not entirely reflective of the game, AFC Wimbledon won the Trevor Jones Memorial Trophy with a late surge of three goals in the final five minutes at Kingsmeadow.
Jamie Taylor had given the visitors the lead in the second minute when knocking home a close range effort following a fine Lance Key save before Matt Bradford levelled the scores in the twenty-sixth minute with a fine looping header.
At times dominating during the mid-section of the game, K's failed to capitalise just after the hour mark when Scott Steele had a penalty saved by Danny Naisbitt. As K's continued to change almost every player on the field, the initiative went back to the Dons who struck in quick succession through a Matt Everard header, a second Jamie Taylor strike and another goal in the final minute by Joe Sheerin.
The K's lined up as follows: 1 Lance Key (13 Barry Marchena) 2 Luke Ballbeck (14 Mazzine Ahmed) 3 Joe Frimpong (15 Anthony Savage) 4 Jermaine Hinds (4 Matt Elverson) 5 Matt Bradford 6 Martyn Williams (18 Unknown) (17 Unknown) 7 Liam Collins 8 Matt Pattison (16 Scott Steele) 9 Greg Ball (12 Araon Gilbert) 10 Martyn Lee (19 Ashley McDonald) 11 Bashiru Alimi |
